I recently helped a buyer relocate from the east coast to Rancho Santa Fe where I facilitated the entire transaction while my clients were remote. They received a full concierge service - we toured properties via FaceTime and once their offer was accepted on the home that they loved the most, we utilized video for all of the inspections and property visits from start to finish. I organized everything to make their transaction and their move a smooth one.
With another recent buyer, I sensed the change in the market from a red hot seller’s market to a more normalized market, so when it came time to write an offer for this particular family, I knew that we could use that to our advantage. Utilizing the most recent market stats and neighborhood activity, I was able to negotiate a deal for my buyers that was $150k under the list price. The buyers were thrilled and were able to put the money that they save on the sale price of the home towards renovations.
In Del Mar, I recently helped a young couple who had been renting see the value of purchasing a home, since their rental rate had exceeded what they could be paying on a mortgage. Once they were pre-approved with a great lender, we started their home search and were able to negotiate them a great price on a home that had been sitting on the market a bit longer than the other inventory in the area. Now they’re actually paying less monthly than they were paying in rent! That’s a big win!
